FlightMaster Professional

(for stair systems, commercial or residential)

FlightMaster is the most sophisticated, automatic design software ever developed for the staircase builder. FlightMaster gives the operator total control over design parameters. With FlightMaster, modelling a stair is just so fast.

With the software monitoring the legal design parameters, the operator is free to explore many more variations in design, thus optimising a stair's effectiveness and architectural appeal.

FlightMaster is so easy. The whole staircase may be modified with a simple mouse click, eg: select the stair to change and change the stair variable, such as going or rise, add bullnose etc, and select OK. The whole stair is automatically rebuilt, instantly!

Using FlightMaster, the operator models the entire stair structure in 3D.

This 3D model may be viewed from any point of view including isometric or true perspective. All typical views are created automatically and all views are 'live' - every minute change to the stair model is reflected in each and every view.

 

The FlightMaster includes the most sophisticated routines for photo - realistic rendering of the completed staircase design for presentation to the client or architect. Textures may be 'mapped' to the stair components for a more realistic impression of the materials to be used, and multiple light sources inserted to replicate the true situation of the proposal. Surface finish may also be defined. The result is a true reproduction of the final staircase option that could easily have been photographed, had it been built!

The output may also be made in a format known as VRML (virtual reality modelling language). This format allows the operator to send via e-mail or the Internet, a full 3D visualisation of the staircase design to the client, who can view it and move around it in 3D without the need for special, costly software.

FlightMaster is also a staircase estimating and management module that uses the 3D model created in the design process to produce a fully detailed cutting list and bill of materials for each and every staircase design. A detailed report showing length and type of handrails, number and type of baluster, size and number of treads etc. This may be printed or transmitted electronically to the manufacturing department or alternatively the data can be imported into an existing spreadsheet package.

The fabrication component of this module will output component drawings and data files for automatic NC routing. With FlightMaster your company will have total control over the whole staircase design and construction process.

FlightMaster allows you to output working drawings to either HPGL, DXF or directly to the printer/plotter.
